Allowing Kids to be Kids

Our Vision
~ Allowing Kids to be Kids ~
Our vision is to allow the tamariki to explore and learn in their own time and in their own way, by providing high quality learning experiences that supports each child’s individuality. We strive to achieve this through working closely with whanau and the wider community and by providing first-class environments that value the future leaders of Aotearoa/New Zealand.
Our Philosophy
At Paradise Early Learning, we feel strongly about providing a warm home like environment where all tamariki are valued as individuals with their own unique learning journeys. All whānau are welcomed and included, and we strive to develop productive partnerships that support sharing aspirations, knowledge, expertise, and culture.
Tamariki’s learning and development here at Paradise Early Learning is supported through caring, responsive relationships that allow them to be the conductors of their own play. We offer open ended experiences, real life opportunities and extra curricula excursions that connect the tamariki to the wider learning community. We view the environment as the third teacher
Throughout our programme and planning we are guided by the early childhood curriculum ‘Te Whāriki’ and underpinned by the principles of Te tiriti O Waitangi. We have a strong commitment to bicultural practice through the incorporation of whanau and iwi, the implementation of Te Reo Māori me ngā Tikanga and valuing Maori world views. Papatūānuku is at the heart of our practice as we respect and care for the living world and encourage sustainable practices.
Our Programs
We offer a variety of programs and projects to support children’s learning and development through each stage of their learning journey.
Paradise for kids, which includes the nature discovery program, the be school ready program and farm excursions.
Paradise for babies, including infant and toddlers programs and the two year old program.
Story park eportfolio’s, this is an online software to document the tamariki’s individual learning journeys, and communicate instantly to whanau and whanau can then communicate back by contributing on their child’s portfolio by uploading photos, comments etc.
All tamariki who attend Paradise Early Learning Centre, will be supported to build a foundation for lifelong learning.
We are a team of experienced and qualified teachers passionate about creating a Paradise for Kids.
